One of Istanbul’s most significant squares, Sultanahmet Square, which houses some of Istanbul’s most significant historical artifacts such as the Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern, will be reformed. The square will no longer be open to traffic. The project will be realized with the support from 2010 Istanbul European Cultural Capital Agency.
