The World’s most famous pantomime theatre group, Mummenschanz will perform on Cevahir Stage of Istanbul Government Theatre on 10 – 11 April.

Having appeared on stage in almost every country of the world, Mummenschanz will meet the art lovers of Istanbul with support from Switzerland Embassy and Turkey Government Theaters. The show will take place within the scope of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency Stage and Performance Arts Regulations.

Including the Broadway’s Bijou Stage, Mummenschanz has performed in many countries of the world since their foundation in 1972. The shows of this Swiss theatre group attract the world’s attention with all their masks, charming costumes, special lightings and mimes. Under the silence of pantomime, the performances appeal to its viewers in a special way.
