By the beginning of the Twentieth Century, when Beyoglu was named Pera., the most prestigious buildings were built there. The famous Greek architect Efth. s. Kocapasulis -born in 1880- built one of these which now stands on Meselik Street at number 10. In almost a hundred years the building has aged, until its reconstruction by the beginning of the year 2000.

Built by architect Vasilaki Lonnidis, the construction of the church was completed on the 14 th of September 1880.
